Alison Dixon, Chief Executive Officer
Alison is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of the Wyndham community. After commencing her career in the finance sector in the UK, Alison spent over 20 years in strategic and operational roles in people and culture, and risk management in both private and public organisations.
As CEO of Western Leisure Services since 2018, Alison has successfully steered the organisation through the challenges of the pandemic, driving a significant post-COVID growth period back to financial strength. This has been achieved through strong values-based leadership, with a focus on a constructive, high-performance culture.
She holds post graduate qualifications and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Barry Harrison, General Manager Organisational Support
Barry has an extensive background in the Leisure and Recreation industry. He has managed centres in three states and two countries spanning over 20 years. Barry has managed large local government-owned facilities including leisure centres, stadiums, event centres, convention centres, theatres, an art gallery and a cinema. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the role having worked as a consultant, a teacher, and as an organisational coach in government, not-for-profit and commercial organisations.
Barry has a Bachelor Degree in Education, a Graduate Diploma in Innovation and Service Management, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
