FAQ - WynActive MLAK Key
What is an MLAK key?
Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK).
The MLAK system is a unique and innovative system that uses a universal lock and key to allow people with special needs to access dedicated public facilities.
It has been installed at railway stations, accessible toilets in Council facilities, shopping centres, and in National Parks.
Why do we have an MLAK key?
It was developed to help increase the availability of accessible, clean and functioning public facilities for the people that don’t always have the luxury of using standard facilities.
Who is eligible for a MLAK key, and how do I (as a patron) obtain one?
Keys are restricted to people who have a disability.
MLAKs can only be purchased from MLAA locksmiths, or the MLAA Support Office.
