School swim carnivals and programs bring students together in friendly aquatic competitions and group-based water‑safety activities. They emphasise teamwork, healthy participation, house‑spirit and stage‑appropriate swim skills in a structured, accommodating environment
How to book a school swim carnival
Schools and community groups may initiate bookings by contacting our aquatic coordination team with preferred dates, school details, approximate group size, and any accessibility requirements. Carnivals are typically scheduled in Term 1 and Term 4 at Werribee Outdoor Pool or Aquapulse.
Swim and Survive program
The Swim and Survive initiative is a national, evidence‑based water‑safety curriculum developed by Royal Life Saving, aligned to the National Swimming and Water Safety Framework and Victorian Curriculum. Delivered through structured, scenario‑based learning, it builds students’ survival, rescue and aquatics competence while meeting curriculum benchmarks
