AquaFit is a water-based exercise and rehabilitation program available to the public and aimed at aquatic therapy through reduced weight-bearing exercise. The equipment includes underwater cross-trainers, bikes and aquatic walkers and is located in the Warm Water pool.
The AquaFit equipment is available for casual rehabilitation use. Please note, at times physiotherapy and exercise physiology groups may be using the equipment, making it unavailable to the public.

Conditions of use
- Children should not use the machine unless they are under adult supervision.
- Keep others, especially children, at a safe distance while exercising.
- Remove all jewellery, including rings, chains and pins before commencing exercise.
- Please ask if you are not sure how to use the equipment.
- Do not use the equipment outside of the water.

AquaFit is a specialised warm-water fitness and rehabilitation program at AquaPulse, using submerged exercise equipment such as cross-trainers, bikes and walkers to provide low-impact workouts that reduce strain on joints and muscles.

AquaFit equipment is available during designated public access times each day. Availability varies across the week and excludes blocks reserved for physiotherapy and exercise physiology sessions.

Any member of the public can use AquaFit equipment during open sessions. It is particularly suitable for people recovering from injury, older adults, or anyone seeking low-impact exercise.

The AquaFit zone features underwater cross-trainers, exercise bikes and aquatic walkers designed for therapeutic movement and resistance training in water.

Users must always supervise children, maintain safe spacing, remove jewellery, and follow staff guidance. Equipment must never be used outside the water.

Beginners are advised to start with two sessions per week, gradually increasing to four or five weekly as strength and confidence improve. Each session should include a 5–10 minute warm-up and cool-down.

No. When physiotherapy or exercise physiology groups are scheduled, AquaFit equipment is reserved for clinical use only and unavailable to the public.

Yes. Children must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times when using AquaFit equipment.
